A loose brushstroke
and strong color show off the rich quality of oil paints. Much of the
work is done on site, though series of paintings are sometimes worked out in the studio.
Watercolor has been
a favorite medium
since childhood. The facinating process of working from light to dark in a variety of subjects makes this work rich in color and value.
