To enhance her graphic design business, Compton expanded into illustration
adding watercolor images and pen & ink drawings to her designs in
1987.
Since then, illustration has become a way of telling a story to help
clients clarify their mission. Enjoy worlds where buildings talk or
puzzels listen. |

In 1992, God's
Paintbrush, her first children's book was published.
Compton spent two years studying illustration at the School of
Visual Arts and was awarded her MFA with distinction as a Lila
